The DSI-NRF Centre for Excellence in Human Development at Wits University seeks to appoint several full-time postdoctoral researchers.
Postdoctoral Fellowship Opportunities at the University of Witwatersrand: South African nationality candidates are eligible
This programme fellowship aims to develop postdocs to senior researcher level within 2 years. All fellowships will involve mentoring, academic writing, project planning/implementation, data analyses and career strategy formulation.
The successful candidates will work closely with Professor Shane Norris and Dr Khuthala Mabetha as programme mentors.
Fellowship details
- South African nationality candidates are eligible.
- Social sciences, epidemiology, and health sciences.
- Skills and experience with quantitative and/or qualitative methods and strong statistical experience will be an advantage.
- Candidates should demonstrate collegiality and willingness to work as part of a peer team.
- Track record of publication will be an advantage.
- Johannesburg-based in person.
- The postdoctoral fellowship is tax-free for a total of 2 years.
- Completion of PhD is a pre-requisite.
