South African National Zakah Fund supports the National Student Financial Aid Scheme “2024 Fully subsidised FREE higher education and training” for South Africans.


SANZAF Bursary Program 2024 (All South African Provinces)

South African National Zakah Fund supports the National Student Financial Aid Scheme “2024 Fully subsidised FREE higher education and training” for South Africans and encourages students to access this service in addition to the SANZAF bursary application.

All applicants are required to apply to NSFAS as a prerequisite to applying to SANZAF Bursary

Applicants are required to secure their own registration fees. However, this amount can be reimbursed once the applicant is successful in obtaining a SANZAF bursary, provided the registration fee paid is within the approved amount and the student can produce proof of paying the registration fee.

Applicants will be required to submit bank statements for themselves, spouses and/or parents for the purpose of financial eligibility for Zakah.

Bursaries are available for all fields of undergrad studies, at any appropriately accredited South African Public Institute, MANCOSA and Regent Business School only.
