The entrance criteria and selection processes will be stipulated by Inscape Education Group (Pty) Ltd. Beneficiaries will be awarded full or partial scholarships per the legislated minimum requirements of the programme and entrance requirements of the institution. Equity considerations will be applied in the awarding of postgraduate scholarships.


Postgraduate Scholarships for Young South Africans: Inscape Education Group Postgraduate Scholarships

Inscape Education Group is the oldest privately-owned multi-disciplinary institution in South Africa and is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training. The Institution has been offering excellence in education since 1981 and offers accredited postgraduate and undergraduate degrees, advanced diplomas, diplomas and higher certificates in the business and innovation, digital design and technology as well as built environment sectors.

Inscape offers face-to-face learning at campuses in South Africa and Virtual Learning through its Distance department. Inscape Education Group is awarding Postgraduate Scholarships for the Bachelor of Arts Honours in Design, full time in 2024. Please note the following conditions about the awarding of scholarships:

  • Partial or full scholarships will be awarded to students who show academic excellence in pursuit of their studies in Higher Education.
  • Applicants for the postgraduate scholarship must be South African citizens, meet the entrance requirements for the programme and be committed to a future academic career in lecturing.
  • As an Inscape Honours scholarship student Inscape provides the opportunity for you to become part of the Inscape team after successfully completing the programme.
  • You will be required, to act as a teaching assistant during the 2024 academic calendar year with a workload of 4 hours per week. You will be not remunerated for this work, but performance will be considered in terms of meeting the scholarship requirements.
  • On successful completion of your studies, you will be required to lecture in a programme that you are qualified to facilitate or work for Inscape in an appropriate department for a period of two years.
  • Qualifying students from Inscape and other registered Higher Education institutions will be considered.
