NVIDIA internships in the United States are now open: The hourly rate for interns is 19 USD – 93 USD

PhD Research Intern, Robotic Perception – Summer 2024

What you’ll be doing:

  • Reproduce existing state-of-the-art computer vision methods
  • Research, design, and implement novel deep learning algorithms to push the state of the art in computer vision
  • Publish original research
  • Collaborate with other team members, research teams, as well as product teams.
  • Transfer technology to product groups.

PhD Research Intern, Networking – Summer 2024

What you’ll be doing:

  •  Develop algorithms and design hardware and software extending the state of the art in computing, networking , and other technology areas surrounding NVIDIA’s business.
  •  Invent new techniques, technologies, methodologies, processes, and devices, to enable new products or types of products. Deliverable results include prototypes, patents, leading to products and publications.
  •  Produce technology vision and the basis for products 5-10 years out. Focus should not be on products currently shipping or in development, except as to how they can be extended and improved.
  • Projects can include, but not limited to: optimizing communication in AI training and inference, network protocols, designing AI systems from SW to HW, circuits and microarchitecture for network controllers and switches, etc

Technical Project Manager Intern, American Sign Language AI Models – Summer 2024

What you’ll be doing:

  • Creating an AI model that recognizes finger spelling, American Sign Language (ASL) and its dialects.
  • Translate images into words and words into images—text and audio—to facilitate communication and information sharing within and between communities.
  • Work with various NVIDIA software development teams including text, voice, and computer vision to create training datasets.
  • Strong collaboration partner and ready to help develop this technology with us

Ops Data Services Intern – Summer 2024

What you will be doing:

  • Analyze and improve business processes that supports various product lines
  • Remove potential risks of inaccurate data provided to contract manufacturers, and improve product quality
  • Use new, emerging technologies to determine optimal components and suppliers for future NVIDIA products
  • Work with cross-functional teams across NVIDIA, ranging from Engineering, Supply Chain Operations, and IT

Manufacturing Engineer Intern – Summer 2024

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Work with senior lead SBE, learn GD&T and perform tolerance analysis of sub to system assembly.
  • Leveraging AI to create automate Manufacturing/System Build Instruction (MPI/SBI), providing content in form of clear, efficient, and easy to understand step by step procedure.
  • Work with SBE lead, research, develop and prototyping thermal/mechanical manufacturing solutions.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings with engineering and operations to study system assembly and test requirements and address areas of special attention (thermals, electrical connections) with project lead engineers
  • Collaborate with lead mechanical engineer (LME) and supply base engineering (SBE) team members to simplify system assembly process. Provide feedback to LME on CAD inconsistencies or errors.
  • Maintain and update existing SBI documentation base on feedback from NVIDIA’s ME, MDE, SBE and CM production teams
  • Gather feedback through DFx, yield issues, repair center activities to improve workflow efficiency and find yield opportunities.
  • Coordinate the purchase of special equipment, materials, and other parts to ensure they meet intended use, specifications, and quality standards.
