CPGR 2024 Postgraduate Bursary For Young South Africans
Established in 2006, the Centre for Proteomic and Genomic Research (CPGR) is a non-profit organisation formed from an initiative by the South African Department of Science and Innovation (DSI). Supported by the Technology Innovation Agency (TIA), it is an established, modern, world class Omics facility in South Africa.
Through our comprehensive services in genomics, proteomics, transcriptomics and metabolomics, we strive to meet the needs of the academic and industrial scientific community.
The following fields will be considered:
- Bioinformatics
- Human Genetics / Genetics
- Molecular / Cell Biology
- Biotechnology
- Biological Science
- Medical Biochemistry
- Medical Bioscience
- Microbiology / Biochemistry
Applicants must:
- Be between the ages of 18 and 29.
- Meet the minimum university entry requirements and be accepted for full-time studies at a recognized South African University.
What the Bursary covers
- Full or partial payment of registration and/or tuition
