Exness Fintech Scholarships In South Africa To Study At The University of Cape Town (UCT): Scholarship Will Cover Tuition Fees Fully And Living Expenses fully or partially

Multi-asset broker Exness is currently accepting applications for its Fintech Scholarships programme from outstanding students, marking the second year the company is supporting STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education in South Africa.

The Exness Fintech Scholarships programme aims to pave the way for academic excellence and career development for exceptional, underprivileged and talented individuals, empowering them to become the next generation of tech leaders.

It does so in partnership with South Africa’s leading institution, the University of Cape Town (UCT), to support university students in science and tech-related courses in their educational pursuits.

The scholarships provide recipients with financial assistance that fully or partially covers tuition fees as well as living expenses. To qualify, applicants should hold an offer of acceptance from the University of Cape Town for Computer Science or Mathematics and maintain a grade average of over 70 per cent (or equivalent).

To qualify for this scholarship, students must be accepted in the following programs of UCT.

Eligibility criteria

  • Holding an offer from UCT for the fields of Computer Science or Mathematics.
  • Have over 70% (or equivalent) grade average.
  • Gross family income per annum household income under R350,000 per annum in order to qualify for 100% scholarship, and between R350,001 and R800,000 per annum to qualify for 75% scholarship.
