South African Society Of Crop Production Bursary To Deserving South African Students Who Want Or Studying Crop Production (Agronomy/Crop Science) At A South African University
The South African Society of Crop Production is a science-based organisation which provides leadership in crop science to promote training, research and technology transfer. The SASCP is committed to greater public understanding of science-based management of soils, crops and the environment, for long term sustainable use and to the benefit of society.
South African Society Of Crop Production Bursary To Deserving South African Students Who Want Or Studying Crop Production (Agronomy/Crop Science) At A South African University
The South African Society of Crop Production annually awards bursaries bursaries to deserving undergraduate and postgraduate students who study full-time for a degree in the broad area of Crop Production (Agronomy/Crop Science) at a South African University.
In 2024, six bursaries will be awarded in the following student categories:
- Undergraduate study R10,000 x3 (must have at least completed 1st year of study)
- Postgraduate study at MSc level R15,000 x2
- Postgraduate study at Ph.D level R20,000 x1
To qualify, applicants must be South Africa citizens or South African permanent residents.
How to apply?
Application forms are obtainable from the SASCP website (https://sascp.org.za/) and completed forms together with supporting documents must be forwarded electronically to [email protected] or [email protected] and must include the following:
- The academic record of the previous year of study at the tertiary institution
- Proof of registration for the current academic year
- Motivation letter from the applicant
- Reference letter from study leader/Dean of the Faculty
- Applicants ID copy
