Minimum Requirements

1. B.Tech in Health & Safety Management.
2. SAMTRAC/Equivalent.
3. Root Cause Analysis Technique (RCAT).
4. Driver’s license.

Primary Duties

1. SHE induction of contractors and new Rand Water employees.
2. Monitor contractors’ compliance onsite.
3. Coordinating SHE Reps monthly inspections and reporting.
4. SHE awareness training of employees.
5. Conduct quarterly internal audits.
6. Monitor adherence to legal & other requirements.
7. Coordinate collection & disposal of waste from site.
8. CCTV & access control system management.
9. Complete a project as defined by the Risk Control Coordinator.

Knowledge

1. Knowledge of Health, Safety & Environmental legislation
2. Basic knowledge of statistical software
