Your responsibilities
- Independent, motivated self-starter and goal orientated with strong entrepreneurial thinking
- Strong sense of urgency and dynamic problem solver with analytical thinking
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Engage in diverse sourcing, supplier management, and purchase activities with the guidance of our experienced procurement team.
- Strong learning change and mental agility as well as leadership abilities.
- Ability to develop and work independently as well as working in teams
- Help identify and assess future partners and maintain accurate supplier information.
- Learn the intricacies of negotiation, pricing analysis, and contract management alongside industry experts.
- Contribute to inventory management, ensuring optimal supply levels for our product categories.
- Support with market research and analysis to inform strategic procurement decisions.
- Work collaboratively across the company to understand and support the resolution of procurement challenges.
Requirements
- Matric qualification as well as BSc/BCom degree from accredited university.
- Previous work or internship experience including graduate work is beneficial
- A demonstrated interest or background in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing.
- A foundational grasp of procurement principles and negotiation, with a keen interest in supply chain operations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and open to learning new procurement software.
- Strong communication abilities, a thirst for knowledge, and a desire to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- A collaborative nature, ready to both learn from and contribute to the team.
