Job Advert Summary
- Clerk Planning: Engineering Department PPC Slurry Factory.
- Fixed Term position.

Minimum Requirements
- Matric/Gr12
- Degree/Diploma in engineering or equivalent
- Data Capturing in a planning environment.
- 2 years’ experience in an engineering maintenance or similar environment
- Assist with clerical related work within the Maintenance Planning Section and workorder feedback capturing.

Duties and Responsibilities
Key Outputs:
- Capturing of data, work execution and maintain system data integrity – Capture data into the CMMS (ON KEY) as supplied by permanent staff and contractors or service providers. This includes: workorder feedback, 5 why feedback, failure feedback, condition monitoring feedback, utility data entry and data entry from external sources.
- Capture documented tangible and intangible time booking (weekly), as well as overtime for legal compliance.
- Create follow-up workorders for permanent resources, contractors or service providers as required.
- Provide clerical and administrative support for the Engineering Department, which includes filing and retrieving of documentation from library or Enterprise Document Management System (EDMS). Linking of documents to assets and tasks.
- Maintain the Engineering Information System. Printing of maintenance cards for the engineering team.
- Communication and Reporting – Provide input into interdepartmental INVOCOMs. Achieve engineering Key Performance Indicators. Report factors, incidents and accidents that pose a business risk.
- Governance and Risk Management – Adhere to SHE, legal, QMS , statutory and regulatory structures and frameworks and promote a culture of compliance.
Contractor Management – Generate, through input of the Foreman and Planner, work requests in the system for contract labour and service contracts.
