POYNTING Antennas Bursaries For Young South Africans To Complete MSc and/or PhD
POYNTING Antennas designs and manufactures technically excellent wideband antennas for 3G, 4G, 5G, LTE and WIFI. POYNTING Antennas is one of the world’s leading innovators of antenna products and own more than 50 patents and designs. Its culture of innovation and problem-solving delivers the most robust and effective antenna solutions on the international market.
Bursaries are available for the following students who are interested in the Microwave/RF antenna field:
- Undergraduate students in 3rd and 4th year
- Masters students
- PhD students
This bursary will cover the full tuition and registration. Accommodation and subsistence will also be covered if required.
It includes an opportunity for a permanent position within POYNTING Antennas as a Junior RF Engineer upon completion of the relevant qualification (Bursary contract requirements must be met). An opportunity to do paid vacation work at the POYNTING Antennas Centurion offices whilst completing the qualification. Accommodation and flight expenses will be covered if the successful incumbent resides in a different city.
Preference will be given to students who are high academic achievers. A letter of support from the University indicating the student’s relevant research topics is required. The successful incumbent will be required to sign a bursary contract with a work back or payback agreement.
Successfully qualified undergraduate students will have the opportunity to complete MSc and/or PhD funded by POYNTING Antennas, whilst employed by the Company.
