PG Group Bursary Programme For Students Studying At A Recognised South African University

PG Group, the only Float Glass Manufacturer in the Southern Hemisphere with amazing technology, has exciting bursary opportunities for engineering students who want to pursue a career in Engineering.

The PG Group Bursary Programme includes financial support as well as developmental support throughout the programme. Bursaries are awarded for full-time university studies in engineering. Once students have completed their qualification, they may be employed by PG Group through the Graduate Programme.

What PG is looking for:

  • Candidates who are already in their first year studying towards a Chemical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering who have a 70% average in Matric and a 65% average in their first academic year.

The following is important to note:

  • Bursaries are awarded for a standard degree over a minimum period.
  • Students must be full-time students at a recognised South African University.
  • Students applying for the Bursary through an Open Distance Learning Institution will not be considered.
  • In a case where incorrect or misleading information is provided during the application process, the bursary offer will be withdrawn or terminated with immediate action.

Degree Programmes that are eligible for funding?

Bursary will be awarded to applicants who want to pursue a career in the following fields:

  1. Chemical Engineering
  2. Electrical and Electronics Engineering

  • Accommodation (University resident rates)
  • Stationery and prescribed books
  • Living allowance
  • Vocational Work
