Job Summary

Overberg Water is a Water Board established in terms of section 28 of Water Services Act, (No 108 of 1997) and is classified as Government Business Enterprise as per Schedule 3B of the Public Finance Management Act (No. 1 of 1999) as amended.

The entity is seeking to employ a Graduate to focus on procurement process, contract administration and
reporting.

Requirements

• National Diploma/Degree/B-Tech in: Supply Chain management /Logistics or equivalent NQF 6 or 7
• Planning and Organisational Skills
• Communication Skills (verbal and written)
• Problem Solving Ability
• Diversity awareness
• Confidentiality, ethics, integrity and professionalism
• Teamwork

Responsibilities

• Procurement
• Bid administration
• Sourcing
• Ad hoc procurement function as and when required
• Willing to work overtime

Graduates residing in the Western Cape who have no prior work experience will be given preference.
