Old Mutual Is Offering A Great Opportunity For Young South Africans To work As Commercial Sales Agents (Western Cape, KwaZulu-Natal, Free State & Eastern Cape)

seeking motivated and self-driven individuals to join our team as a Commercial Sales Broker. As a Broker, you will play a vital role in providing our clients with personalised financial advice and solutions tailored to their unique needs.

You would:

  • Conduct financial needs analyses and identify suitable financial products for clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and guidance.
  • Explain complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Adhere to all regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
  • Achieve and exceed individual sales targets.

Non-negotiable:

  • Grade 12 or National Senior Certificate.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in non-life insurance.

Advantageous:

  • Relevant financial services qualification (RE5 according to DOFA date) or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong product knowledge and ability to learn new concepts quickly.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong work ethic.

The Recruitment process:

  • Panel Interview: This will be with 2 members of the leadership team, the regional manager and the team leader of the ABS team.
  • Technical & Psychometric Assessments: These will depend on the role and will sometimes happen concurrently with MIE & Internal Verification
  • Final Feedback
