Booysendal Platinum is situated on the border of the Limpopo and Mpumalanga Provinces near the towns of Mashishing (Lyndenburg), Roossenekal, and Steelpoort. The mIne is located on the Southernmost exposure of the eastern limb of the Bushveld Complex with 80% of its resources in the Mpumalanga Province.

Requirements
- The successful candidate must have the following basic requirements:
- Grade 12 with Math and Science
- Proof of registration with a relevant institution (advantageous)
- Grade 12 students should have passed all subjects on 2nd term exam
- 2nd-year students should have passed all 1st-year subjects
- Certified Copies of all qualifications and results
Important to note
Bursary opportunities are offered to self-motivated and suitable students in the following fields of study:
- Mine Survey, (REF Number: BDHR25/24)
- Rock Engineering, (REF Number: BDHR24/24)
- Mining Engineering (REF Number: BDHR23/24)
The bursar must be prepared to undertake full-time employment with Booysendal, for each year the bursary is renewed
Preference will be given to applicants from the local community (however, you are still eligible to apply even if you are not from the community)
Bursaries granted to current grade 12 students will be subjected to the outcome of the final grade 12 examination results
