What is the Value Logistics Learnership?

The Value Logistics Unemployed Learnership is a 12-month structured programme designed to equip participants with an Occupational Certificate in Supply Chain Practitioner (NQF Level 5).

The programme follows a blended learning approach:

  • Theoretical Training: One week per month in a classroom setting.
  • Practical Experience: Four weeks per month working within a real-world operational environment.
  • Final Assessment: Completion of the External Integrated Summative Assessment (EISA) exam.

Minimum Entry Requirements

To be considered for the 2026 intake, applicants must meet the following strict criteria:

  • Age: Between 21 and 29 years old.
  • Education: Matric (Grade 12) Certificate with a minimum 50% pass rate.
  • Employment Status: Currently unemployed.
  • Background: Must have a clean criminal record (checks will be conducted).
  • Skills: Ability to pass literacy and numeracy assessments during the selection process.

Key Responsibilities & Working Hours

Selected learners will be expected to:

  • Maintain a 100% attendance rate for both classroom and workplace training.
  • Work Monday to Friday, typically from 07:00 to 17:00.
  • Be available for overtime as required by operational demands.
  • Actively participate in the development of employable skills in logistics.
