Roles and Responsibilities

  • Production
  1. Logging material to select shots needed to make promotions
  2. Editing and cutting numerous promo ideas that can live across key marketing platforms in line with brand requirements and specified templates.
  3. Providing written scripts in conjunction with the copywriter
  4. Creating graphic titles to visually emphasize or bolster the promo
  5. Working on ad hoc projects as and when required
  6. Filling in cue sheets for music used in promotions and submitting to Library

About You

Requirements Qualifications:

  1. National Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4) – Essential
  2. Diploma in Film and Media (NQF Level 6) – Essential

Competencies

  1. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  2. Intermediate English language proficiency
  3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring thorough and careful completion of tasks
  4. Ability to monitor and follow up on delegated assignments and projects effectively
  5. Commitment to continuous learning by actively seeking and applying new knowledge and skills
  6. Effective participation in meetings, considering the needs and contributions of others
  7. Good planning and organising skills to manage tasks and ensure efficient work completion

Additional Requirements:

  1. Must be a South African citizen
  2. Must be under the age of 35
  3. Candidates who have previously participated or are currently engaged in a SETA-funded internship are not eligible.
