Intern to support core commercial processes at GIZ Cameroon
The BMZ-financed project to promote forests, the environment and the climate in Cameroon supports the ministries of forestry and environment in implementing their national programs at national, regional and local levels with its advisory services.
In addition to implementing the project, the project team is striving to expand the content by acquiring co-financing (CAFI and GCF).
As an intern in the project, you will work closely with the finance manager in Yaoundé and thus support the service function provided by the commercial team. In addition to the coordination office in Yaoundé, there are three external offices in different regions of the country.
Your Tasks
- Support with offer calculation
- Support with data security and knowledge management
- Support with correction bookings
- Support with receivables management
- Assist with budget control and financial reporting
Your Profile
- Study from the 3rd semester in the areas of business administration, international business or related disciplines
- Interest in a commercial career and an affinity for numbers
- Ideally, first work experience abroad, knowledge of the African continent and international cooperation
- Quick comprehension and very good verbal and written expression in German, French and English
- Confident handling of MS Office applications
- Intercultural competence, ability to work in a team, organizational talent, as well as being open-minded and taking initiative
- 100% integrity during and after the internship
