Job Advert Summary
Responsible for the execution of administrative duties in the various Human Resource ISO functions, and to provide support in areas including recruitment and selection, administration, employee wellness, employment equity and employee relations. Addresses matters dealing with staff queries and advising on company benefits policy e.g pension, medical aid, leave and other benefits administration. Undertaking and completion of day-to-day transactional HR administrative tasks and functions
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate)
- National recognised qualification in Information Technology, Business Administration, Human Resources or Payroll
- Supervisory qualification (added advantage)
- Must be fully computer literate
- 3- 5 years proven experience function in HR information system environment of which 2years should be in SAP
- 1 year supervisory experience
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass Rand Water k53 test
Primary Duties
- Ensure that all employees are loaded on SAP and check for their completed payroll information and supporting documentation.
- Compile induction file for each new employee for their first day and conduct HR induction process.
- Conduct manager Self-Service Training with every newly appointed manager.
- Advise and guide employees on leave queries and the leave application process in line with the company leave policies.
- Ensure that termination pack of forms is completed and checked to ensure that documents are completed correctly in line with audit and payroll requirements before uploading relevant forms into the HR and payroll information system and notifying the national payroll team of this on or before the required deadline for processing
- Complete and upload the required letters and documentation for current employee promotions or changes in designation of employment
- Communicates any HR and payroll related information to staff if required
- Assist employees with any queries relating to the company benefits and acts as a liaison between the employee and the external service providers as required
- Adherence to the provisions of the POPI Act
- Submit timesheets to payroll
- Upload all payroll forms into the correct HR and payroll information system
- Review and audit all leave applications
- Review leave reports monthly
- Collaborate with and support the HR team with various HR related projects
- Provide HR administrative support to other departments
