In this role you will be responsible for:
- Entering into a student internship program with MQA and will obtain working experience in their qualification discipline field at Glencore Eastern Chrome Mines in order to graduate
- Undergoing practical training and exposure at the premises of the company
- Compliance with the company’s HSEC system. Ensuring implementation of management decisions, legal requirements, and the company standards/policies
Internship P1/P2 Student opportunities exist in the following disciplines:
- Environmental Health and Management
- Mining Engineering
- Metallurgical Engineering
- Geology
About you:
- Grade 12
- Proof of current study and requirement of P1P2 letter from the institution for completion of diploma/degree
- Computer Literate (MS Office)
- Proficient in English written language
- Medical fitness
- Performance / Achievement Driven, Accurate and timeous completion of assignments (result driven)
- Ability to function independently, good interpersonal skills
