Job Description

Responsible and driving the company’s digital marketing platforms and creating fresh new content for each platform; developing and implementing digital and social media campaigns and assist in coordinating through-the-line campaigns.Digital & Social Media Specialist

Job Duties

  1. Own and execute the digital and social media content strategy that aligns with the company’s objectives (Instagram, Tik Tok, LinkedIn)
  2. Develop a compelling brand-aligned content calendar to ensure consistent, engaging content across all social media channels throughout the year.
  3. Proactively identify emerging social media trends leveraging them to create engaging content that drives reach and interaction across platforms.
  4. Demonstrated experience in planning, setting up and optimising paid social media campaigns across Meta platforms with a strong understanding of audience targeting, budget allocation, performance tracking and campaign reporting.
  5. Keeping up to date with industry best practice and monitoring content activities of competitor websites.
  6. Write compelling copy tailored to each social media platform.
  7. Manage the creation of entertaining and informative content for social media in collaboration with in-house designers.
  8. Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics to optimise content performance.
  9. Managing social media advertising performance and analyse web traffic to inform strategy.
  10. Identify and execute new opportunities to generate leads and boost conversions.
  11. Produce and monitor both external and internal social media advertising schedules.
  12. Conceptualise and execute the organization’s online media campaigns including influencer campaigns.
  13. Assist with sourcing digital asset from studio and disseminating them to the broader team to ensure the organisations website and App are correctly updated.
  14. Support the broader marketing team with digital communications and advise on digital marketing opportunities.
  15. Assist with gathering stats and insights for monthly and MANCO reports.
  16. Manage the company’s website and App content ensuring marketing assets are uploaded and maintained timeously.
  17. Regularly update all sections of the website including homepage and all other categories.
  18. Manage all studio assets and marketing assets ensuring marketing assets are available for paid and organic campaigns.

Qualifications

  1. Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communication

Experience and Knowledge of

  1. 3-5 years working experience as an Account Executive at an Agency or digital content coordinator
  2. Proven expertise in paid social media campaigns especially across Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram), including campaign setup, audience targeting, budgeting, A/B testing, and optimization to drive performance and ROI.
  3. Strong working knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube) including their algorithms, content formats, analytics, and publishing tools.
  4. Experience using Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, and other relevant digital advertising and reporting tools.
  5. Solid understanding of content planning and execution, including developing content calendars, briefing creative teams and adapting messaging for various channels.
  6. Experience managing or updating on CMS platforms.
  7. Experience with influencer marketing, community engagement, and online brand reputation management.
  8. Excellent copywriting and visual communication skills, with a strong grasp of brand tone and audience engagement.
