PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Internship opportunity for candidate’s studying Extraction Metallurgy to complete their exposure and projects to obtain their formal qualification.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

SAFETY, HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT AND QUALITY:
• Participate and comply with SHEQ requirements.

CUSTOMERS:
• Interact with customers 

BUSINESS PROCESSES:
• Gain practical exposure, complete the projects to obtain final qualifications.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Applicants are required to have completed their latest exam with a pass rate of 65% or above
• Proof of certified qualifications / statement of results to be attached and authenticated 
• Letter of recommendation for the P1 and P2 exposure programme from the institution.
• Must have studied at a formal educational institution e.g. University/ Technikon (Not FET Colleges) 
• Must not have taken part in an internship/ in-service training opportunity previously 
• Must be currently unemployed and willing to sign a fixed term contract for 12 months 
• Subset to medical fitness evaluation for mines
