IT & Broadcast Technician Intern (Durban North)
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining IT and Broadcast Technology systems.
- Provide IT and technical support to staff at the office.
- Provide IT and technical support to staff at outside productions.
- Attend to technical administration.
Requirements
Qualifications and Competencies:
- National Diploma/Degree – Information Technology, Electrical engineering, or equivalent qualification.
- Determination and proactivity– to learn, perform quality work and develop yourself.

Graphic Design Intern (Durban North)
Graphic Design
- Designing elements for various departments that covers: station collateral and all digital platforms, including websites, social media, e-mailer campaigns, invites, Press Ads, Billboards, Street posters in line with ECR’s CI manual.
- Designing of seasonal campaigns
- Design of traditional media such as brochures, flyers, business cards, billboards etc.
- Create and Design internal station messaging and external client facing imaging.
- Design templates in Canva and PowerPoint
Multimedia News Internship (Durban North)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in various areas of the news department.
- Learn to write/ read news stories.
- Assist in the general operations of a newsroom.
- Assist journalists in the compilation of their stories on the various platforms (on-air, online, social media).
- Report from the field as well as work on the news desk.
Requirements
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Diploma/Degree in Journalism or Media and Communications.
- Code 08 Driver’s License.
- Exceptional writing skills.
- Operating studio and field recording and production equipment.
- Minimal editing and multi-track mixing experience needed.
- Broad general knowledge and general computer literacy – (MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint/ Outlook)
- Current affairs/ Social media awareness.
