Transnet SOC Ltd (Transnet) is a logistics company delivering integrated efficient, safe, reliable and cost-effective services to promote economic growth in South Africa. Transnet is offering an Apprenticeship Programme which aligns with Transnet’s Business Strategy.
Minimum Requirements
- NTC2 with 4 relevant trade subjects all passed or
- Technical National Certificate Vocational Level 4 or higher with 7 subjects passed or
- Technical Matric Certified including Pure Mathematics and Physical Science passed with relevant trade theory passed

- Electro mechanician- Bloemfontein, FS
- Electrical Fitter- Swartkops, EC
- Wagon Fitter- Uitenhage, EC, Saldanah, WC
- Turner Machinist- Uitenhage, EC, Bloemfontein, FS, Saltriver, WC
- Diesel Mechanic- Durban, KZN
- Structural Plater- Uitenhage, EC, Bloemfontein, FS, Saltriver, WC
- Mechanical Fitter- Durban, KZN, Saltriver, WC
