The objective of this 12-month learnership program is to provide unemployed individuals, particularly those living with disabilities, with structured training and practical work experience in disciplines such as Supply Chain Management, Production Management, Business Administration, Freight Handling, and Stores & Warehousing. The program aims to introduce learners to the working environment, enhance employability skills, and prepare them for future career development, all while contributing to the operational goals of Brenntag SA.
Responsibilities
- Attendance of theoretical classes over the 12 month period and competency
- Achievement, in the relevant NQF level (4 or 5).
- Work with a cross-functional team to complete Work assigned by Line Manager
- Perform duties as requested to achieve business objectives.
- Undertake overtime duties as and when required.
- Adhere to Company Standard Operating Procedures & Policies at all times.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate is an unemployed individual aged 18–25,
- Matric certificate
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a professional setting
- Possess basic computer skills,
- Strong communication abilities
- Commitment to completing the 12-month program.
- Demonstrate resilience
- Collaborative spirit
- Strong work ethic, with a focus on safety, quality standards, and achieving learning outcomes
Experience
- This is an entry-level learnership program aimed at providing opportunities for individuals who are unemployed and have not yet gained professional experience
