How To Apply For A Bursary

Where

You must apply at the Boston City Campus Support Centre at which you would like to register to study.

When

  • Bursary applications open twice a year (you must apply in the correct time period for the semester for which you are requesting assistance – N.B. No late applications will be accepted):
    • For Semester A studies: submit your application between the 1st and 30th November of the previous year
    • For Semester B studies: submit your application between the 1st and 31st May of that year.
  • Once your application has been submitted, the Support Centre will advise you on when you can follow up. It is your (the applicant’s) responsibility to follow up to find out if your application has been successful or declined.
  • Following the closing date for applications, the Bursary Committee will meet to finalise the results. The Committee will not enter into any correspondence with individual applicants and no reason(s) will be given as to the awarding or declining of a bursary application.

How

  • There is no standard application form to be filled in.
  • The Support Centre at which you apply will tell you whether it will accept online applications or hard-copy submissions.
  • Submit:
    • A strong, well-worded and thought-through letter of motivation
    • A copy of your ID (it is not necessary for it to be certified)
