You Must Have: Extensive knowledge of heavy earthmoving equipment component rebuilding


Bell Equipment In South Africa Is Looking For A Mechanic (Applicants must be Trade Tested Earth Moving Mechanic / Diesel mechanic)

DUTIES:

  • Strip, assess and repair / rebuild worn, damaged Bell machine components.
  • Generate Component parts list for repair & assembly.
  • Use of computer to generate detailed failure reports on MS word and MS PowerPoint
  • Repairs to the full range of Bell Equipment Machine Component’s e.g.:
  • Engines
  • Kessler and Gear Ratio Transfer cases.
  • Suspension struts
  • Differentials
  • Allison and Funk Transmissions
  • Front end loader, TLB and Grader axles
  • Diagnose, plan for Parts on component rebuilding.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Applicants must be Trade Tested Earth Moving Mechanic / Diesel mechanic.
  • 5 Years post trade experience
  • Auto electrical and electronic fuel system diagnostic capabilities.
  • Basic Computer skills in e-mail, Intranet, Spreadsheets, Microsoft Word, excel and PowerPoint.
  • Extensive knowledge of heavy earthmoving equipment component rebuilding
  • Valid code 8 driver’s license
  • Must be prepared to work after hours and weekends when required.
  • Basis welding skills
  • Applicants must pass a Skill test to be considered for an interview.
