Apprenticeship Programme: Millwright / Auto Electrician / Fitter & Turner at Toyota
PURPOSE:
- This is an Apprenticeship Programme where participants will receive training in one of the following trades, Millwright, Auto Electrician, Fitter & Turner discipline.
- Successful participants will be employed in an hourly position for the duration of the programme (4 years).
- Permanent employment at the end of the program is not guaranteed, as placements are contingent upon available vacancies.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Millwright
- NTC3 Electrical/Mechanical, Maths, Eng Science or Technical Matric with Maths (Pure Maths), Engineering Science, Electrical Trade Theory or Mechanical Trade Theory, Technical Drawing, Graphical Design.
- Workshop experience in the trade related discipline (advantageous).
Auto Electrician
- NTC3 Auto Electrical Trade Theory or Technical Matric with Maths (Pure Maths), Eng. Science, Auto Electrical Trade Theory, Technical Drawing/ Graphical Design.
- Workshop experience in the trade related discipline (advantageous).
Fitter & Turner
- NTC3 Mechanical Trade Theory, Maths, Eng. Science, or Technical Matric with Maths (Pure Maths), Eng. Science, Mechanical Trade Theory, Technical Drawing/ Graphical Design.
- Workshop experience in the trade related discipline (advantageous).
