The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience, with the following being the main responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating content for social media platforms, newsletters, internal magazines and press releases
  • Monitor all social medial platforms and check the company website for accuracy
  • Graphic design for social media and internal communications
  • Conduct research to support communication strategies and initiatives
  • Help manage online presence and monitor analytics
  • Support in organizing events and promotional activities
  • Assist with the consolidation of the marketing and communication reports
  • Provide support for the sales team with leads and promotional opportunities
  • Monitoring of the company email inbox and SMS lines and fielding questions

Skills and Attributes

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • A passion for learning and contributing to a collaborative team environment
  • Should have completed a relevant communications or marketing qualification
  • Proficiency with MS Office programmes and social media platforms
