EThekwini Municipality Opens Applications For 2026 Student Relief Fund

EThekwini Municipality is calling on ambitious, deserving residents to seize an exciting opportunity of the 2026 Student Relief Fund (EMSRF).

This initiative is designed to support first-time undergraduate students who have been accepted into public higher education institutions, but lack financial assistance.

Applicants have until Friday, 16 January 2026 to submit their applications.

This is a bold initiative from the Municipality to break the cycle of poverty and unlock opportunities for a future workforce that will drive innovation and growth in the City.

The EMSRF is a lifeline for students who dream of higher education, but face financial barriers.
